Project Survival Camp for Kids

Project Survival Camp for Kids will work with local area youth will work with local area youth from Maryland and Pennsylvania under auspices of Opportunity Inc. a 501c3 nonprofit organization.
Project Survival Camp for Kids is being developed in memory of our Founder and Board Chairman Vernon H. Wolst, Jr.
Vernon commitment to working with youth so they could receive a helping hand to succeed in life through Project Survival.
The Project Survival Camp for Kids will provide a safe and structured environment for inner city children of low-income families, an opportunity for the children to see a world beyond their neighborhoods. Kids who could easily choose the wrong path without productive and creative outlets to develop and discover their dreams.
The Project Survival Camp for Kids will give children a chance to experience the fresh air, and a place to relax and enjoy. The camp hosts children ages 8 - 16 years of age, with 1 week for ages 8 to 12 and 1 week for ages 13 -16. Campers are divided by age and gender into family groups which are led by a pair of caring mentors who oversee group dynamics, encourage campers to get to know each other, and who take the group to each class throughout the day.
